Laurie and I have known Stanley Lo since we bought our first home in Hillsborough in 2003. Stanley was the selling agent and we retained him as buying agent as well. The transaction was flawless. I have been involved in real estate for 50+ years. I have been a CPA, a real estate attorney and a real estate broker. Stanley Lo is the smartest residential real estate broker I have ever met. Because he owns his own business he can do things, to benefit his clients, that broker/agents that work for large real estate companies can not and would not over do. Stanley lo is such a huge well-known name on the Peninsula that people are bound to hate but I can say with confidence that he is by far the most efficient and respectable businessman and real estate professional I have ever met! The man has built an Empire from scratch and has an amazing team behind him. In September of 20141 lost my Grandfather who was like a father to me. Three days later my Grandmother suffered a massive stroke. It was and still is the most difficult thing I have ever had to deal with, especially while taking care of a 9 month old and still working full time. Stanley helped me through the process of prepping and selling their home with such ease that what should have been a very difficult process was a breeze. He and his team of movers, contractors and cleaners helped me empty the house of decades and decades of family history (and garbage), do some minor cosmetic work to the property to make it more presentable and paid to have the house staged which made it sparkle beyond my belief. He did all this while my husband, son and !resided there. The office staff designed and printed an amazing looking brochure and did all the advertising in house. They minimized stress by efficiently scheduling private showings and scheduling open houses every weekend until the house was in contract. Once in contract his Transaction Coordinators handled all the necessary paperwork in an organized and professional manor. They guided the transaction through closing without me having to do much more than sign my name. The best part is that in what should have been the worst time of year to sell a home, Stanley managed to sell the house with multiple offers and well over asking. I don't like writing reviews but Stanley and his team deserves a shout out. My husband is generally cautious and not very trusting but after our first meeting with Stanley, we signed the paperwork and decided to have him list our rental house. The man does not disappoint. He had the home ready to go (minor repairs and staging) in about 2 weeks and we had multiple offers over asking. Stan is the man! By the way, our 11 year old niece likes watching HGTV and has an interest in real estate. She enjoys looking through Homes and Land magazine so she is well aware of Stanley and aspires to be like him in the future. We mentioned it to him and he autographed a brochure ( like a true celebrity) and gave her a red envelope (it was around Chinese New Year). She was estatic and put the autographed page on her bedroom wall. She tells everyone she knows Stanley and wants to be like him when she grows up.
